DEMOCRACY IN THE REARVIEW

While the current Congress, President, and Supreme Court lay bare the reality and insanity of America as it celebrates 250 years of hypocrisy, we have simultaneously been bureaucratized from top to bottom. Our voices no longer matter in local, state or federal government agencies that only care about themselves. This, unfortunately, is likely to get worse as White, Christian, religious fanatics get a taste of power and control over their political enemies. Meanwhile, liberal do-gooders wave protest signs to no effect.

Betrayal of trust by media and government in the United States has created a society where finding truth and justice is next to impossible. Citizen journalism helps, but carpet bombing advertising online eclipses critical thought required to survive the onslaught by hedge fund media.
