No Shots No Work

Government agencies, health care facilities, schools and many private employers are soon likely to require proof of vaccination for their employees. Short of a federal mandate, this will help prevent major outbreaks such as those happening in low vaccination rate states like Arkansas and Florida.

Getting the unvaccinated vaccinated is the national priority, and some employers are requiring it as a condition of employment. Still, there is much misinformation on the internet, and that is causing a sharp increase in infections and hospitalizations nationwide.

Preschool for all California children is Governor Newsom's plan, but to accomplish that will require a lot more teachers and a lot more training in the skills required for early childhood education*.

Biden Betrays Immigrants

Biden's promise to close for-profit prisons--as inhumane--did not extend to ICE detention centers, that house non-criminals with civil violations that could be processed without detention. Biden's Justice Department is currently fighting the California law banning for-profit ICE detention centers.
