Coming Plague

UCSF and UC Berkeley medical experts say public health reform is needed on a global scale to respond to the next pandemic. Some say COVID variants and high transmission rates make it likely to get worse again. Global health infrastructure has deteriorated to the point that the World Health Organization* has a budget smaller than UCSF.
