Cool Cats
Fans of cool jazz from the 1950s might remember two Bay Area legends who played at San Francisco's Black Hawk nightclub at the corner of Turk and Hyde in the Tenderloin. The unusual combination of Concord born Dave Brubeck and San Francisco native Paul Desmond was one of the finest.
