City College Art and Music

My friend's mother teaches song and dance at City College of San Francisco, and she says that the reprieve regarding accreditation is conditioned on cutting art and music programs.

Having taught singing and dancing at CCSF for forty years, she is afraid that arts and music majors will have nowhere to go if this happens.
 
As essential forms of communication, practiced by all civilizations in the history of humankind, she is baffled at this attitude that excludes these forms of human expression.
