Good Intentions

Someday, the US might have a functional public health system, but for now political good intentions are causing big problems. Odd as it may sound, warehousing the homeless--rather than providing hotel rooms--is worse than leaving them on the streets. Mostly a nursing home crisis at the outset, the COVID pandemic exploded when homeless were jammed into Moscone Center.
