American Indian Film

The American Indian Film Institute  has sponsored the American Indian Film Festival in San Francisco since 1977. AIFI was started by Will Sampson, a Creek actor and rodeo bronc rider from Oklahoma, who was in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. The annual festival screens at the Palace of Fine Arts, Embarcadero Center and other venues around the city.
