Sailing the Bay

As a former sea captain and sailor, I can attest to the life-changing experience of getting it together on the water. For adolescents, it's a marvelous way to learn responsibility while having fun. As the Chronicle notes, there are many opportunities for learning these valuable skills, and it doesn't cost a fortune.
